Supplies:

• Small plastic tubes with a hole for yarn or necklace (in craft or hobby stores) or small plastic containers with a screw-on top (bulk or whole-sale stores and catalogues)

• Pixie sticks (enough for each person to have 5 for the small tubes, no more than 10 per person)

How To Do It:

Pass out the containers and remove the tops.

 Hand out 1-2 of each color of pixie stick and cut off the tops.

 Have the kids alternate each color to create layers of color, which look like sand art, but it’s edible, tastier and a bit healthier than using decorative sugar.

What You Need To Make This Childrens Party Food:

• Carmel Popcorn, Crunch N’ Munch or similar
• White chocolate bars, or White chocolate used for baking
• Small saucepan
• Large serving bowl
• Large spoon or laddle

Place small saucepan with small pieces of white chocolate bars or white baking chocolate on stove top on a very low heat.  Stir regularly.

Dump carmel popcorn/crunch n’ munch in large serving bowl or several bowls to desired amount.

Stir melted white chocolate until thoroughly melted. Once melted, remove from heat.

Use laddle or large spoon to lightly drizzle or pour creamy melted white chocolate on carmel popcorn in bowls to desired amount.

Then stir carmel popcorn in bowls to allow white chocolate to be mixed with melted white chocolate.

Let popcorn sit while white chocolate cools and hardens.

Serve & Enjoy!

Chocolate Dipped Banana Bites:

What you need for this simple & delicious kids party food/treat:

• ripened bananas
• milk chocolate chips or milk chocolate bars (the best for melting & taste)
• waxed paper
• simple knife
• platter or tray

Take a small saucepan and on a low heat setting slowly melt milk chocolate chips.  Peel skins off of bananas and section or cut them into medium sized pieces.

Use a pair of tongs or other utensil to dip the banana in the melted chocolate in the saucepan. Place the dipped banana on to a sheet of waxed paper. Allow it to cool and harden.

Place cooled chocolate dipped banana pieces on a serving tray and keep cool until party time.  Then serve!

Chocolate Dipped Red Licorise:

1. Buy a few packages of red licorise nibs (long) or red licorise twists
2. Buy some milk chocolate bars or milk chocolate chips
3. Taking a small saucepan – place on low heat and melt the milk chocolate chips.
4. Have wax  paper layed out on counter or cookie sheet.
5. Dip end of licorises one at a time, in the melted chocolate (only one dipped end is neccessary), when done place on the waxed paper.
6. When you have the desired amount of dipped licorice, let cool in fridge or on counter undisturbed till the chocolate is solid.
