Cupcake/Treat Walk – Toddler Party Game

Cupcake/Treat Walk - Toddler Party Game (1-7)

Muscial Treat/Cupcake Walk

Muscial Treat/Cupcake Walk

Toddler Party Supplies Needed:

  • An assortment of cupcakes or edible treats: rice-crispy treats, small cakes or muffins, small cookies.

  • Paper-plates with a different number or small chairs with numbers on them.

  • Age appropriate music.

  • A hat or bucket with the same numbers that are written on the chairs or the paper-plates

 Party Game Directions:

Set out all the party treats on a table.

Position the chairs in a circle, and it’s best if the numbers are out of order.

Play the music in intervals ranging from 15 seconds-1 minute depending on age and attention span.

Stop the music and make the kids stop on the plate or sit in the chair they are standing on or in front of as the music stops.

Draw a number. Whoever is on the number wins a treat and can no longer play; At least, not until after everyone has won, and only if there’s enough for everyone to win more than once.

*This is similar to cake walk but is a nice way to give prizes without giving a whole cake away.
